Nashoba Girls Soccer Youth Soccer Clinic

Update from Coach Moulton - Kids can register right up to and during the clinic.  If you email Coach Moulton to "pre-register" you'll have a better shot of having the right t-shirt size available!  Either way, bring forms and payments to the clinic.

The Nashoba High School Girls Soccer Team will be holding a Girls Youth Clinic from Monday, August 20th - Wednesday, August 22nd.   This youth clinic is for girls in grades 1-8 and open to all surrounding towns.  The clinic is put on by Nashoba’s fabulous Girls Soccer team both as a fundraiser for their program but also to establish connections with young girls in the local community as role models to help encourage them in the sport.

Monday, August 20th – Wednesday, August 22nd from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm.  Girls can attend 1 day, 2 days or all 3 days!

The clinic is inexpensive and supports our home team! Take a look at the attached brochure/registration form and if you have any questions email Coach Moulton ( ).

Sounds like a good way for parents to get a few hours free! Open to girls grades 1-8 in all towns - bring your friends and have fun playing soccer!

Concussion Awareness

Concussion Awareness - Concussions in sports and elsewhere are getting a lot of attention these days, and for good reason, finally.  Several state youth soccer associations have made Concussion Awareness Training mandatory for all youth sports coaches.  Mass Youth Soccer is currently formulating its position on concussions.  In the meantime, here is what all coaches can do both for the benefit of their players and to use in everyday life.  Go to the Center for Disease Control web site and take the free on-line concussion awareness course.  Parents, too!

http://www.cdc.gov/headsup/youthsports/training/index.html
Thank you for doing this.  Concussion Awareness Training is expected to become mandatory for all youth soccer coaches soon.  Let's all get in the forefront on concussion awareness.
